Why Every Business Needs An Internet Fax Service

New technologies have a way of infiltrating the corporate world and dictating how business is done. These new technologies gain dominance very quickly and become indispensable in the running of our daily business. So much so, we even wonder how we survived without this new technology in the first place.

internet fax is one such technology.

Along with the internet, email, cell phones, pdas... internet Fax is transforming how companies run their businesses. In a very competitive corporate world staying on top of the latest technologies is another way for most companies to remain competitive and in the game.

The Major Reason Is Convenience

internet or email faxing is simply using the web and your email system to send faxes. You are given a local or toll-free fax number and you can send and receive faxes through the internet as email attachments usually in Tiff or JPEG files. Most online fax service providers will have an online interface (site) where you can also store your faxes. You can access your faxes wherever you have the internet and these days that's just about anywhere on the globe.

Many believe, internet fax is faxing done right. It blends seamlessly into our increasingly wireless world and offers freedom from our old bulky fax machines. You are always connected to any vital faxes night and day. You can access them anywhere, anytime.

More importantly, your business clients can connect and reach you at any time. This is vital for salespeople, consultants, real estate agents, on site builders, work at home businesses... and the list goes on. internet fax directly connects you with your important customers, suppliers, services and business partners.

Another Major Factor Is Cost

Despite the obvious convenience of using an internet fax service, one of the major reason businesses are switching over to internet fax has to do with cost. It is significantly cheaper to use internet fax, especially when you consider there is no cost of a fax machine and you don't need an extra phone line. For many small businesses just starting up, proceeding with an internet fax system will save them money.

Shop Around For Your Fax service

Prudent business owners will know buying any long term service for their company or business takes some serious consideration. For even a small difference in the price of these services can mean significant savings over the long haul. Do your homework now and you can save big bucks down the road.

Different prices and services are offered by the major fax service providers such as MyFax, eFax, RapidFax, Send2Fax and TrustFax so it pays to shop around. You can save by finding the exact service to meet your needs. If your faxing needs are very modest, you can even get a fax service for under $20 a year. Make sure you check out the international rates of any service you choose, these rates are slightly higher than domestic rates.

No doubt the savvy business owner would not only shop around but if they need extensive fax numbers for different departments or agents, they know it would be wise to contact these fax providers for a special deal or offer. As with any other business arrangement, special deals can be worked out, especially for high-volume clients. Keep in mind, many businesses use Fax Broadcasting as an effective marketing tool in promoting their products or businesses.

Smaller Fax service Providers

In your search for the best price and service from your chosen fax provider, don't ignore the smaller, lesser known fax service providers such as Metro Hi Speed out of Seattle and Faxage from Denver. These companies may not be as well known as the major big name fax providers but they offer excellent professional services. Also as many business owners already know, sometimes dealing with a smaller company presents a greater opportunity for better communication and arrangements. Personal attention to detail is often greater mainly because your company doesn't get lost in the horde.

Regardless of which Internet fax service provider you choose, you must make sure this provider can meet all your faxing needs. You must make sure you get the best service for the price so you won't be disappointed down the road.

Internet fax is one new technology every business needs in order to stay competitive in a very competitive world. In addition, low start-up costs, competitive pricing, and total faxing convenience makes acquiring an Internet fax service a smart business move, one most businesses can't afford not to take.

Installing Linux on Virtual Machines

If you havent started using virtual machines yet then you are missing the boat. Virtual machines create a virtual computer with in your computer. You can configure how much memory you use and how much of your hard drive you need. This great because if you are running windows XP then you can test out Vista while XP is still running. The virtual machines act as real computer receiving their own ip address and you can use them a servers. This helps double the power of your hardware. Virtual machines do suck up a lot of memory so you will need at least a gig of memory.

I tried out several linux distoss on Virtual PC and Vmware and found some interesting tips. The first distro I used was Damm small Linux on Virtual PC 2007 I installed virtual PC 2007 and then created the virtual machine with all the default options with 256mb of memory. I then started the virtual machine clicked on the CD tab selecting Capture ISO image and then I watched Damm small Linux boot. To my surprise everything worked be default, I was now running Damm small linux virtual machine with-in my winows xp laptop, cool. I was able to connect to the network both wired and wireless. Now I tried Ubuntu and Backtrack linux. I did the same config for each machine with the same result, I could not get the mouse to work. Not sure what the problem was but I am knew to using VMs.

Now I decided to try Vmwares Vmplayer, I soon discovered you need to create a virtual machine for the player. So through some internet research I discovered you can do this freely through the easy vmx website, type in easy vmx in google choose the simple one. I chose the generic linux OS and then typed in the name of the ISO image, the first one was Backtrack. You need to place that ISO in the same folder that the vmx file is located. So after that was done I started my virtual machine and every thing worked except the wireless card. Now this is probably because of me being a newbie and not knowing how to install a wireless card on the VM. I had the same result with Ubuntu and Damm small linux.

Vmware has many tools for you to create and configure your VM but the draw back is that they are not free. Virtual PC 2007 is free but it appears to have less functionality for linux. Try it out and double the power of your pc today.

What Is The Golf Swing Slice

There are a couple of different types of slicing. Although basically, the effect is the same, you miss the target and end up with a higher score.

So you ask, how many types of slices are there and what are they? Although the figures may vary, there are at least 3 forms of slicing. All the rest are just variations of these 3 and produce more or less the same effect on your swing. These are:

1. Straight Slice

An initial straight path characterizes this slice once the ball is hit. However, midway in its flight, the ball will swerve either to the right or left depending on the individuals swinging hand. this is the most common type of slice; since most golfers aim to drive the ball straight through the course and take great pains in ensuring the downswing path is straight.

However, even with a perfect aim for the downswing, if the golf club hits the ball with an open clubface, this will cause the slice. So the goal is to not only hit with a perfect downswing but to ensure that the clubface is 'square' once it hits the ball.

2. pull Slice

The downswing path for a push slice starts from the outside going in, and also includes an open clubface. Thus causing the ball to fly towards the left upon impact, and then gradually swerve to the right. this is due to the 'spin' generated by the open clubface hit on the ball.

3. push Slice

this last form of a slice is characterized by an inside to outside swing path plus an open clubface hit. again this produces a spin on the ball upon impact, but this time the ball flies immediately to the right. But due to the additional spin generated, the ball will swerve drastically to the right even further.

Based on the information we have discussed about the various forms of the slice, the only common denominator between them is that they will always include an open clubface hit.

At its most basic, an open clubface will not induce much of a spin on the ball to cause it to make an extreme turn. However, if combined with an improper downswing, the effect will be destructive enough to cause the ball to entirely miss its target.

So the key here is practice, practice and more practice. Correcting a slice cannot be done overnight and the learning curve is different between each individual. But if you're willing to put in the work to fix the problem, you will be reaping the reward in the end. A perfect game may not be too far out of the horizon.

You might not get in the pga tour, but at least you'll enjoy the game more and that's a reward in itself.

The Key To Sinking More Putts

If you have fairly good distance control, then the secret to shooting a lower score is sinking more Putts in the range up to 8 feet. And if you want to know how important those shots are, consider this: You will use your Driver a maximum of 14 times in a round, not as often as you will stand over a short putt. And, you dont necessarily lose a shot with a poor Tee shot while you will, with almost every poorly struck short putt.

While watching the pga Championship from southern Hills, I was struck by how still the head and body of the best golfers are when putting, even after they have struck the golf ball. Its almost as though the stroke is more important than the ball.

That reminded me of a little tip to go with the drill to shorten your backswing and force you to accelerate (see below left). Try this again on the practice green, only this time focus on the space between the putter and ball at address and keep your focus on that point throughout the backswing, downswing, contact and follow through and LISTEN for the ball dropping into the cup.

This encourages your head to stay very still on the line of contact, resisting the temptation to watch the ball or to move with the backswing. Just try that on the practice green and you will surprised at how deadly you become. If you dont, then contact me and well look at your putting stroke.

If you want to check your stroke quickly yourself, then stand facing a wall and line up so that the toe of the club is only an inch from the wall. Now, take a normal swing and check: does your club move away from the backswing or brush up against the wall at any time?
